Commerical Filming & Still Photography

 

The Beach House is available for commercial, non - profit and student film and still photography shoots. An executed permit from the Annenberg Community Beach House is required for location use of the property. In addition, a permit from the City of Santa Monica's Film Permit Office is required for any filming or still photography shoots within the City of Santa Monica and should be submitted to the Film Permit Office a minimum of 3 business days before the first day of filming.

Filming at the Beach House may take place during the following hours:
Monday through Friday, site opens at 7am and shooting must end by 10pm with crew & equipment off site by 11pm.
Saturday and Sunday, site opens at 7am and shooting must end by 11pm with crew & equipment off site by midnight.

For the City of Santa Monica Public Works and Film Permit Office contact Kathy Ruff or Vee Gomez at 310-458-8737.

City Permit Application
The Filming Guidelines and Requirements provide general information for obtaining a filming permit in the City of Santa Monica.

City Permit applications can be completed at our office, by faxing the completed forms to 310-576-3598, or by emailing your application to one of our Permit Specialists, Kathy Ruff: kathy.ruff@smgov.net or Vee Gomez: vee.gomez@smgov.net.

The Annenberg Community Beach House and City of Santa Monica Permit Office reserve the right to require the approval and / or the presence of the Santa Monica Fire Department and / or the Santa Monica Police Department, at client's cost, to ensure public safety and safety of the physical site.
